For New Year's Day we decided to go visit Seoul Tower! aka Namsan Tower for the mountain it's near. But it turned out everybody else thought it'd be a good day to go visit too. Austin was such a sweetheart though, never complained about waiting in all of the lines. And there were some crazy lines! It was a pretty great day checking out the famous tower. Here is a visual tour of our trip ;)
We used a few modes of transportation that day. We drove to the train station. Rode the train for an hour and half, walked a ways, then rode a cable car up to the actual tower.

Our first line of the day. Waiting to buy tickets for the cable car!

About 4 hours total into the journey...

Our view from the cable car!
Almost there!
Part of my convincing Austin to go was that I'd pack us a lunch. So we thought these benches away from the crowd would be nice to eat at. They just happened to be near an exercise area (which you'll find randomly all over Korea)

Before we headed up to the actual tower part, there was still the gift shop to check out

Next up we had to check out the love locks!

Time to add ours!

For some reason, it took me until we got to the counter to realize the topping choices wouldn't be the ones we're used to... can't go wrong with brownie though!
Such a great view!!
